You may be familiar with us as Blackburn Seafield & District Credit Union. For over three decades, we’ve been more than just a credit union - we’re your neighbours, your friends, your support network. Recently, we’ve extended our embrace to include everyone living or working in West Lothian, as well as the villages of Harthill and Eastfield.

Who we are

A credit union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members. Unlike banks, credit unions prioritise serving their members’ needs rather than maximizing profits. We’re a community cooperative, owned and loved by our members where members pool their resources to provide financial services to each other.

Authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Your savings are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). Proudly part of a Scottish family of 83 credit unions with 413,791 members, £3.8 billion in savings, and £1.9 billion in loans.
